What is A.Vogel Prostasan Saw Palmetto?
A.Vogel Prostasan Saw Palmetto is a traditional herbal medicinal product used to help relieve urinary symptoms associated with an enlarged prostate (BPH - benign prostatic hypertrophy).
Containing an extract of Saw Palmetto (Serenoa repens) fruit, Prostasan is intended for men aged 18 years and over who have already had their BPH diagnosed by a doctor.
Its use for the relief of urinary symptoms of BPH is based exclusively on long-standing use as a traditional herbal remedy.
What is A.Vogel Prostasan Used For?
An enlarged prostate can affect the normal flow of urine and lead to a number of urinary symptoms.
Prostasan Saw Palmetto can be used by men diagnosed with BPH to help relieve associated urinary symptoms, which may include:
- Needing to urinate more frequently
- Increased need to urinate during the night
- Difficulty starting urination
- A weaker urinary flow
- Feeling that the bladder has not completely emptied

How to Take A.Vogel Prostasan Saw Palmetto
Men aged 18 years and over, including the elderly:
Take 1 capsule once daily with food.
Swallow the capsule whole. Do not chew.
Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Who Can Take Prostasan?
Prostasan is intended for men aged 18 years and over who have been diagnosed by their doctor with benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH), also known as an enlarged prostate.
If you have urinary symptoms but have not been diagnosed with BPH, speak to your doctor before using this product, as urinary symptoms can have other causes.
Important Information
Do not take this product if you are allergic to Saw Palmetto or any of the other ingredients.
Do not take Prostasan if you have hereditary problems of fructose intolerance.
If your urinary symptoms worsen or you notice blood in your urine, experience pain when urinating or develop urinary retention, seek medical advice.
