Prescription Collection

At Kennedy’s Pharmacy, we offer a Prescription Collection Service for your convenience. Generally it will take 48 hours from when you order your prescription at your health centre until we have it ready for you to collect in your chosen pharmacy in Dunloy or Rasharkin. We collect from the following Health Centres on a daily basis: Rasharkin, Kilrea, Garvagh, Cullybackey, Maine (Cullbackey),  Ahoghill, Portglenone, Frosses, Ballymoney Family Practice, Ballymoney Dr. Fannin. We also collect from Armoy Country Medical (Tuesdays) and  all Ballymena practices (Monday and Thursday).

Please ensure to order your prescription on time so that you can avail of this service.

We also provide a text service to advise you when your prescription is ready for collection. If you’d like to avail of this service, please telephone either pharmacy or ask in person when visiting the pharmacy.

How the Text Service Works

Customer will leave name, address and mobile number; when our staff receive a prescription for you, we will send you a text when your completed prescription is ready to collect.

How often do you collect from Rasharkin Health Centre?

We collect at least 3 times daily from Rasharkin Health Centre.

How often do you collect from Kilrea Health Centre?

We collect once daily in the early afternoon.

When do you collect from Ballymena surgeries?

We collect on a Monday and Thursday morning.This means that prescriptions will be ready in the afternoon of these days.

How far in advance should I order my prescription from my health centre?

It is recommended you order 7 days before you need it to allow sufficient time for your health centre to process your prescription and in time for our delivery driver to collect and then for the pharmacy to fulfil your prescription.
