How to Use Nicorette® InvisiPatch

Before you begin, it’s important to choose the correct nicotine patch strength:

Step 1 – Nicorette® Invisi 25mg Patch
Start here if you smoke 10 or more cigarettes per day.

Step 2 – Nicorette® Invisi 15mg Patch
Start here if you smoke fewer than 10 cigarettes per day, or if you have completed 8 weeks on Step 1.

Step 3 – Nicorette® Invisi 10mg Patch
Once you’ve completed Step 2, reduce to the 10mg patch for the final 2–4 weeks, depending on your quit plan.

How to Apply Nicorette® InvisiPatch

The patch should be applied to a clean, dry, hairless area of skin, such as the upper arm, hip, or the front or side of the chest. Alternate application sites each day.

Follow these steps:

• Wash your hands and ensure the skin is clean and dry
• Cut along the edge of the child-resistant sachet to remove the patch
• Peel away part of the silver backing foil without touching the sticky surface
• Apply the sticky side to your chosen area and remove the remaining backing foil
• Press firmly with your palm or fingertips
• Run your fingers around the edges to ensure the patch is secure

The patch should be removed before bed, as it is designed to be worn for up to 16 hours only. After removal, fold the patch in half with the sticky sides together, place it back into the sachet or foil, and dispose of it safely out of the sight and reach of children and pets.

You should aim to stop using Nicorette® InvisiPatch within 12 weeks.

Nicorette® InvisiPatch Step-Down Programme

For smokers of 10 cigarettes or more per day:

Week 1–8: Step 1 – 25mg patch
Week 9–10: Step 2 – 15mg patch
Week 11–12: Step 3 – 10mg patch

For smokers of fewer than 10 cigarettes per day:

Week 1–8: Step 2 – 15mg patch
Week 9–12: Step 3 – 10mg patch

Important Information

For adults and children aged 12 years and over. Apply one patch in the morning to clean, dry skin and remove after 16 hours.

Do not apply to red, cut, or irritated skin. Do not use talcum powder or oils before application as this may prevent the patch from sticking. Always read the package leaflet before use.
